In 1842 Census of Canada, lived not far from Brother James, in St. Malachie District, a farmer, owner of 45 acres. Household listed as numbering 4 people.
Of interest: one of the witnesses at the christening was a "John Bothwell" - most likely his Uncle, William's brother John, born 1728. The time lapse makes it _very_ unlikely that this would be his Grandfather John.
