Alwin and his son appear to have been enumerated twice in the same county and township in 1930 on pages 2B and 4B

Alwin was listed as a linotype operator for the El Paso Herald on his 1918 draft registration card. His description was short, heavy build, blue eyes, light hair. Physical problem noted: Missing left big toe.
