Flossie Bothwell
Mrs. Flossie Evelyn Bothwell, 56, 916 4th Ave., died Monday at her home. She had been ill for some time.
She was born April 10, 1915 at Weeping Water, Neb. and lived in Nebraska until the age of 12, when she came with her parents who homesteaded in Moffatt County.
They later moved to Baggs, Wyo., before settling in Gilcrest in 1931. She graduated from high school there in 1933 and has lived in the Greeley area since, working as a bookkeeper.
Mrs. Bothwell was a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Oliver (Judy) Sonju and Linda Bothwell, both of Greeley; three sons, Keith Bothwell and John Bothwell of Fort Morgan, and James Bothwell of Las Animas. Her mother, Mrs. John (Florise) Noell of Greeley; one sister and brother, Mrs. James B. (Murriel) Abbett of Greeley and Willard Noell of Duarte, Calif. A son, Robert, preceded her in death in 1954.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday from Adamson Memorial Chapel with interment in Linn Grove Cemetery. The body will lie in state until noon Thursday. Friends who wish may give to the Heart Fund.
