BOTHWELL, JOHN, 75, of Lakeland and formerly of Plant City, died Tuesday (Sept. 12, 1995) in Lakeland. He was born in Gary, Ind., and moved to Plant City, where he lived for 30 years before moving to Lakeland. He established himself as a photographer in Plant City, and had set up one of the first color photo labs in Florida in the Ocala area. Prior to his photography career, he was a saxophonist who played for such big band leaders as Gene Krupa, Tommy Dorsey, Woody Herman and Boyd Rayburn. He later started his own band. Survivors include two sons, Ron and John both of Ocala. Mark III Family Funeral Home, Tampa.
