Notes for William Heilig
Note discrepancies in the age and date and place of birth. On some census reports, his birth place is given as being in the US, on others its given as Germany. He appears in the 1880 census as a 3-year-ole and in 1900 his birth year is given as 1879. On his draft registration card in WWI, his DOB is 4-16-1880 and on his WWII registration he put 4-15-1881.
Notes for Anna Laurie Bothwell
The Lincoln Star noted in its July 30, 1904, edition under personals that Anna L. Bothwell had gone to Salt Lake City on a vacation trip. In the list of marriage licenses published in the Nebraska State Journal of 11-6-1913, the bride-to-be of William Heilig was Anna Sherman.
