The Denver Post reported she died of a broken heart on June 19, 1915, having collapsed shortly after her husband's death on June 11.
Note: Death certificate lists date of birth as Aug. 18, 1863, other records, including the mariage license and federal censii, indicate actual date was Aug. 18, 1861, which also is the date listed in the family bible.
